01 · START
Start a ride anywhere
Open the app and tap Start a ride. GeoPedal follows your route with your phone's GPS, even with the screen locked in your pocket. Tracking pauses when you stop.

How it works
GeoPedal turns every ride into a move on a shared map. Here is the whole game, in the order you'll play it.
01 · START
Open the app and tap Start a ride. GeoPedal follows your route with your phone's GPS, even with the screen locked in your pocket. Tracking pauses when you stop.

02 · CLOSE
Get back within about 100 m of where you started and the loop closes. Figure-eights count too; both lobes are yours. Out-and-back rides don't enclose anything.

03 · CLAIM
Everything inside the line is now your territory, painted on the map in your color. The claim screen tells you exactly what you took: 6.12 mi², 12.1 mi ridden, loop closed.

04 · FORTIFY
Each loop over your own land adds a layer of fortify, up to three. The higher it goes, the more rides it takes someone to break it.

05 · CONTEST
Loop through land someone else holds and you knock one layer off. When their fortify reaches zero, that ground flips to you. Every point on the map belongs to exactly one rider.

06 · REVENGE
When someone takes your ground you get a notification with their name and the place. Reclaim it within 7 days and your old fortify comes back with it. One loop can undo what took them three rides.

Launch lineup
Everything here is earned by riding. There is nothing to buy at launch.
Ride to earn XP, level up, and open crates. A Raid hits harder on a rival's land. A Shield protects yours.
Trade ground with the same rider enough and it becomes a rivalry, tracked on both your profiles.
Every claim makes a card: your map or your photo, with the area you took printed on it.
Fair play
Sustained speeds a bike can't hold get the ride disqualified.
GPS jumps are filtered out of your route, and faked locations are flagged.
Other riders see the land you claimed, not the route you rode.
